Custom / Personalized Orders:
Custom, personalized, engraved, resized, or made-to-order jewelry requires a non-refundable deposit of 50% before materials are ordered or production begins. This deposit covers materials, labor, and production reservation. Remaining balance due before delivery. If no payment after 30 days, deposit may be retained to the extent permitted by law.

Payment Plans:
Minimum 30% deposit required. Items remain company property until paid in full. Missed payments may result in cancellation and partial retention of funds to the extent permitted by law.

Return Shipping:
Customer pays return shipping unless item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, or where required by law.

Shipping Liability:
Business not responsible for carrier delays but will assist with tracking and claims.

Privacy & Marketing:
Customers may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

Chargebacks:
Fraudulent or abusive behavior may result in refusal of service to the extent permitted by law.

Refunds:
Processed after inspection to original payment method unless required otherwise by law.

Final Sale:
Final sale items not eligible for return unless defective. Must be disclosed before purchase.

Legal Protection:
Nothing limits consumer rights under Massachusetts law.

Policy Interpretation:
Maison Esme reserves the right to apply policies reasonably and consistently.
